The first book report will be a non fiction book. You will read through the book and learn about something new. Students will need fill out the true/false sheet in their bet handwriting. This sheet will be turned in. On their chosen day, the students will present their book with their true false questions on their book. They can present this in anyway they would like to, but must have a visual in their presentation (PowerPoint, diorama, poster, artifact, etc). This is so much fun to learn more about what the kids are interested in.
The second term book report will be a picture book reading. Each student will pick a picture book that they can read in front of the class. They will practice their book and then read it to the class. This is to help with fluency and expression when reading.
The third term book report will be a picture book reading. Each student will pick a book that they can read in front of the class. They will practice their book and then read it to the class. This is to help with fluency and expression when reading.
The fourth term book report the students will read a chapter book. As they are reading they will create a bag that tells about the book. They will also put items in the bag to display what the book is about.
